John takes great care to make sure that his properties are in exceptionally good quality and responds immediately to any potential problems, not only keeping to the Unipol responsiveness guidelines but from my experience exceeding them considerably and getting it done immediately for non-urgent minor issues.
John is always reachable by mobile phone and also answers emails directly. When he went on holiday, he always took care to provide us with an emergency number so that should anything happen, it will be swiftly taken care of nonetheless.
I have had only one actual emergency repair since I've been living here (a broken shower pump), but despite it being a weekend and a complicated case, he acted quickly and got it taken care of within hours. There were some smaller repairs and John dealt very quickly with those as well.
John has also been extremely helpful in matters that exceed normal landlord duties. For example when there was a minor problem with a vacant neighbouring property, he helped me by finding out who the owner is, contacted them himself and sorted out it out with them the very next day.
John really cares about the quality of his properties and will take unprompted measures to keep them at a consistently high level
I've been with John for almost three years now and already signed my contract for my fourth. Both from my own experience with him and from my friends' experience with their landlords, I'm completely convinced that John deserves to be called " most responsive landlord of the year".
